In this engaging and interactive 6 week course, students will develop essential critical thinking skills to navigate the modern media landscape confidently and responsibly. Through a series of fun activities and practical exercises, students will learn how to evaluate the credibility of media sources, identify misinformation, and understand the difference between opinion pieces and news reporting.
The course will cover key topics including recognising bias, fact-checking techniques, and ethical considerations in information sharing.
By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the tools they need to critically assess the information they encounter daily and become informed, responsible media consumers.
