About Thinkers Guild

About Me

Thinkers Guild - The Art of Thinking.

Helping children and young people understand themselves, think for themselves and navigate the world around them.

Thinkers Guild creates books, courses, workshops and coaching designed to help children, young people and their families develop the skills that matter in real life — from emotional resilience and communication to critical thinking, problem-solving and self-awareness.

Why I created Thinkers Guild

My name is Natasha, and I am, first and foremost, a mum.

I have four children, aged between eleven and twenty-two, and we have always been a home-educating family. I knew from around the age of twenty-one that I would not be sending my own children to school, although I couldn't have predicted quite where that decision would eventually lead me!

My work with children and young people began much earlier. At fifteen, I started volunteering on our local summer playschemes, and I continued working with young people until I had my first child at twenty-six.

Along the way, I worked as an au pair in America, looking after two boys aged nine and twelve, and as an English teacher in South Korea. More recently, I've volunteered with my children's Scout troop and supported a local autism charity during the school holidays.

I've also spent several years volunteering in advocacy, supporting parents when dealing with government organisations, schools and medical professionals. That experience has reinforced something I have always believed: children and families need people who listen, understand and help them find their voice.

My academic background is in Law and Criminology, with a BA from the University of Sheffield. I've also studied psychology, sociology, coaching and neurodiversity support.

What I believe

I've wanted to support children and young people for as long as I can remember.

When I was about fourteen, I told a careers adviser that I wanted to "inspire people" when I grew up.

Her response was, "Well, that's not quite what I meant when I asked!"

Apparently, "inspiring people" wasn't sufficiently specific for a careers questionnaire. The suggestions included teacher, lawyer, social worker and journalist.

Perhaps, in the end, I found my own job description.

Because I still believe that inspiring people matters.

From lived experience to Thinkers Guild

Now, in 2026, with my own children needing less of my time, I can finally turn my attention back to something I've wanted to do for decades: helping children and young people become confident, capable, and curious adults.

Thinkers Guild brings together everything I've learned through parenting, home education, youth work, advocacy, writing, coaching and lived experience.

The Oops! Books grew from that experience. Written by me and illustrated by my autistic daughter, Lily, they are designed to make conversations about ADHD, Autism and Anxiety accessible, honest and a little less daunting.

Alongside the books, I create interactive programmes and coaching that help children, young people and families develop the skills to understand themselves, communicate effectively, manage challenges and think critically.

I don't believe children need to be moulded into someone else's idea of who they should be.

I want to give them the tools to understand who they are, think for themselves and find their own way in the world.

That's the heart of Thinkers Guild.
