Critical Thinking
Think better. Question more. Don't believe everything you read.
We live in a world where information is everywhere — but good information can be surprisingly difficult to find.
This workshop explores how we decide what to believe, how we recognise unreliable information, and why even clever, well-informed people can be persuaded by flawed arguments, misleading headlines and our own assumptions.
Participants will explore practical ways to:
- question information rather than simply accept it
- distinguish fact, opinion and interpretation
- recognise bias and unreliable sources
- spot misinformation and misleading claims
- ask better questions
- evaluate evidence and arguments
- think critically without simply becoming cynical
The aim isn't to tell people what to think. It's to give them the tools to think for themselves.
Flexible format
Critical Thinking can be delivered as a standalone workshop or developed into a six-week course, depending on your needs.
Sessions can be delivered online or in person and tailored to the age, experience and interests of your group or organisation.
Whether you're looking for a thought-provoking one-off session or a deeper programme exploring critical thinking over several weeks, we'll build the content around your learners and your objectives.
Who is it for?
Schools, colleges, youth groups, community organisations and other groups who want to develop confident, curious and independent thinkers.
Because the goal isn't to have all the answers. It's to know how to ask better questions.
